Description:
This is a traditional story in the Tsangg dialect of Middle Kodut [mpl] spoken by Darius Paul, an elder in Bencheng village in the Lower Watut valley of Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. Bencheng is next to the old Tsile Tsile airstrip. Be aware that there are periodic occurences of Tok Pisin loan words in Middle Kodut due to sociolinguistic factors of language shift and vitality.
